The Engineering Department will generally recommend the award of a Contract to the Approving Authority (City Commission or other authority that will make the Contract award) within 30-45 days after bid opening. However, for a specific date that a project will be considered for award by the Approving Authority, please contact the Engineering Department at (616) 456-3060 and request to speak to the appropriate project manager.

PLEASE NOTE:
The Approving Authority reserves the right to award a Contract in the Approving Authority's best interest, and therefore, may select a Bidder other than the lowest.
