The Mayor’s 50!
The Mayor’s 50!
The Mayor’s Fifty is a campaign to identify fifty businesses to partner with the City of Grand Rapids to provide meaningful jobs for young people,
age 15-21. These are businesses who have agreed to help young men and women in Grand Rapids become part of the local economic
mainstream by providing valuable work experience and in return, receiving valuable worker contribution to the bottom line at half the cost!
The goal is to place seventy-five teens with participating companies through 2011. We believe this 50/50 partnership between companies
and the City will provide small businesses and larger companies great dividends through youth employment and contributes to
economic health.
