“We envision a community driven by hope and sustained by passion where youth are nurtured and supported to thrive in all aspects of life.”
-GR Youth Master Plan Vision Statement

The Youth Master Plan Steering Committee led by Dr. Rhae Ann Booker, Ph.D., key community stakeholders and youth have come together to say it’s time we act differently, share common language, and truly align our efforts for ALL children and youth across the age spectrum. Why? Because our children deserve better! We can improve outcomes for children to be ready for college, work, and life if we take aim, take stock, target action and track progress.
The Youth Master Planning process is using the Ready by 21™ model with technical assistance from two national organizations – the Forum for Youth Investment, who developed the model, and the National League of Cities’ Institute for Youth, Education, and Families. The beauty of the model is that it presents in simple and clear language a process that helps us think differently about how we take aim and focus. By thinking about the big picture of who is doing what, we can act differently to produce better outcomes for children.
